Slot Game Guides
Slotathon’s game guides explain how individual slots work: the payout system, key mechanics, feature rules, RTP configurations and any documented differences in Great Britain versions. They aren’t casino reviews. Each guide connects a game’s rules to the mechanics behind them, using in-game, developer and certification evidence wherever possible.
Researched slot games
These ten games have completed Slotathon’s launch research and QA. Each guide focuses on how the game actually behaves, where its important mechanics sit, and which configuration differences the evidence supports.

Big Bass Bonanza
A 5×3 fixed-payline game where Fisherman Wilds collect visible Fish Money values during Free Spins, while collected Fishermen advance the feature multiplier and add more spins.
Maximum win: 2,100×

Book of Dead
A 5×3 slot with 1-10 selectable fixed paylines. Three or more Book symbols trigger 10 Free Spins, where one ordinary symbol becomes the Special Expanding Symbol.
Maximum win: 5,000×

Dead or Alive
A 5×3 slot with 9 fixed paylines. In Free Spins, Wilds remain fixed for the rest of the feature and line wins are doubled.
Current max payout: 8,600×

Gates of Olympus
A 6×5 Pay Anywhere game with Tumbles, random multiplier symbols from 2× to 500× and Free Spins where qualifying multiplier values can build a running total.
Maximum win: 5,000× total bet

Gonzo’s Quest
A 5×3 slot whose Avalanche mechanic removes winning symbols and drops replacements into the gaps, with consecutive wins increasing the sequence multiplier.
Current max payout: 2,200×

Legacy of Dead
A 5×3 slot with 1-10 selectable fixed paylines. Free Spins randomly select an expanding-symbol target, and retriggers can add further expanding-symbol targets.
Maximum win: 5,000×

Razor Shark
A 5×4 fixed-payline game built around four-high Mystery Stacks, Golden Shark-triggered Razor Reveal mini-reels and a Free Games multiplier that rises as Mystery symbols nudge.
Volatility: High

Reactoonz
A 7×7 Cluster Pays game where winning symbols disappear and new symbols cascade into the gaps, while cluster wins charge Quantum Leap meters and queue feature events.
Maximum exposure: 4,570.3×

Starburst
A 5×3 fixed-payline slot that can pay from either direction, with expanding Wilds on the middle reels that can remain in place for respins.
Maximum payout: 800×

Sugar Rush
A 7×7 Cluster Pays game with tumbling wins and Multiplier Spots that build on individual grid positions, then persist across the Free Spins feature.
Maximum win: 5,000×
What you will find on a Slotathon game page
Each game page starts with the rules that define how the slot behaves, then follows the mechanics far enough to explain the important variations and boundaries.
- Payout model: how regular wins are formed, whether that means paylines, Ways, clusters, Pay Anywhere or another documented system.
- Mechanics: how features such as cascades, multipliers, Free Spins, collection systems or paid feature access actually behave in that game.
- RTP and configurations: the documented RTP versions we can support, rather than assuming one percentage applies everywhere.
- Great Britain differences: where certification or configuration evidence changes what can be said about a GB version.
- Source conflicts: where first-party, in-game or certification material describes different builds or labels, the disagreement stays visible.
- Evidence you can inspect: dated rules checks, source notes and in-game or developer captures where available.
Why the same game can have different RTP or feature settings
A slot title does not always identify one fixed configuration. Providers can certify or supply more than one RTP setting, and some features can be enabled in one market or build while being disabled in another.
Starburst shows how wide those differences can be: Slotathon found five RTP settings across 11 UK-facing casino clients. Gates of Olympus shows the feature side of the same problem, with several UK-certified RTP configurations while Buy Free Spins is disabled in the UK-certified configurations covered by our research.
What we don’t do
The research on these pages is about how games behave, not whether a game or casino is “best”. Slotathon does not offer strategies for winning. Our game guides explain the rules and mechanics, including where configurations differ or the available evidence leaves questions open.
How we research slot games
Slotathon starts with direct game evidence such as in-game rules, developer documentation and certification material. Specific claims are tied to the sources that support them, and build or jurisdiction differences are kept separate where they matter.
Safer gambling support
Slotathon explains how slot games work. It does not provide strategies for winning or encourage longer play. If gambling is causing concern, see our Safer Gambling Support page for UK support options.
