Push Gaming
Razor Shark Slot: RTP, Mystery Stacks and Free Games
Razor Shark is a 5×4 Push Gaming slot with 20 fixed paylines, but the interesting part is what its four-high Mystery Stacks can become. A reveal can produce regular paying symbols or Golden Sharks; Golden Sharks trigger Razor Reveal, where the Mystery positions turn into mini-reels that can award instant bet multipliers from 1× to 2,500× or Scatter symbols. In Free Games, Mystery symbols on reels 2 and 4 nudge down with each spin, and every nudge increases the feature multiplier.

How Razor Shark works
Razor Shark starts with a familiar structure: five reels, four rows and 20 fixed paylines. What makes the game distinctive is that some reel positions can arrive as four-high Mystery Stacks rather than ordinary symbols.
The stacks are where most of the game’s feature logic starts. When one reveals, it can produce ordinary paying symbols or Golden Sharks. A Golden Shark then triggers Razor Reveal, turning the Mystery positions into mini-reels with their own possible awards.
Free Games take that idea further. Mystery symbols fill reels 2 and 4, move down through the feature, and every nudge raises an increasing multiplier. At that point, the Mystery symbols are doing more than hiding an outcome: their movement is part of the feature progression.
What are the Mystery Stacks in Razor Shark?
Push Gaming describes Razor Shark’s Mystery Stacks as being four symbols high, and says they can appear anywhere on the reels. Their purpose is to conceal what will be revealed underneath.

The important distinction is that these are Mystery symbols, not stacked Wilds. Push Gaming’s supplied game information specifically marks stacked Wilds and expanding Wilds as absent. The stack can reveal paying symbols or Golden Sharks, but the four covered positions should not be classified as a four-high Wild mechanic.
What appears underneath matters. Paying-symbol reveals stay within the normal game, while a Golden Shark can open Razor Reveal instead.
How does Nudge & Reveal work?
Nudge & Reveal is Push Gaming’s name for the movement-and-reveal behaviour attached to the Mystery Stacks. As the Mystery symbols move, they reveal outcomes beneath them.
Push Gaming is clear that the stacks nudge and reveal, but it is much more specific about the step size in Free Games than in the base game. So for the base game, the useful description is simply that the stacks move and reveal what is underneath.
The position-by-position rule is much cleaner in Free Games. There, Push Gaming explicitly says the Mystery symbols nudge down by one position with every spin.
What is Razor Reveal?
Razor Reveal begins when Golden Shark symbols are revealed from the Mystery positions. Push Gaming says the Mystery-symbol positions then transform into mini-reels.
Golden Shark: revealing this symbol from a Mystery position starts Razor Reveal.

Those mini-reels can land instant bet multipliers ranging from 1× to 2,500×, and they can also produce Scatter symbols. The 2,500× figure belongs specifically to an individual Razor Reveal instant award. It is not evidence that 2,500× is the game’s overall maximum win.

The 2,500× figure sounds like a max-win number at first glance, but it is only one Razor Reveal award. Razor Shark’s overall maximum-win story is more unusual.
How are Free Games triggered in Razor Shark?
Three or more Scatter symbols trigger the Free Games feature. The supplied Push Gaming game information says the minimum starting award is 5 Free Games.
Bonus / Scatter: land three or more to trigger the Free Games feature.

Push Gaming also says additional triggering Scatters enhance the feature. Its material supports two parts of that enhancement: more Free Games can be awarded, and the Mystery stacks can start from a higher position after being nudged upward.
Push Gaming does not give a complete Scatter-to-spin table in the material reviewed. What we can say confidently is that three or more Scatters trigger the feature, the minimum starting award is five spins, and extra triggering Scatters improve the starting feature state.
How do Mystery Stacks work in Free Games?
At the start of Free Games, Push Gaming says reels 2 and 4 fill with Mystery symbols. Those symbols then nudge down by one position with every spin.

That movement carries through the feature rather than being a one-spin effect. The Mystery-symbol positions keep shifting downward, and every nudge matters because it is tied directly to the feature multiplier.
Additional trigger Scatters can nudge the Mystery stacks upward at feature entry and award more Free Games. Slotathon does not infer from that starting position that a later spin is more likely to win.
How does the Razor Shark Free Games multiplier work?
Every Mystery-symbol nudge increases the Free Games win multiplier. Push Gaming’s launch material also tells us what that multiplier actually applies to: line wins and Razor Reveal instant awards.
That distinction is easy to blur. The multiplier is not described as a blanket boost to everything in the feature; Push Gaming ties it specifically to those two win types.
So the multiplier links the two sides of the feature: ordinary fixed-payline wins can use it, and so can the instant bet-multiplier result produced by Razor Reveal.
What is the RTP of Razor Shark?
There is more than one Razor Shark RTP configuration. Push Gaming’s current public game page surfaces 96.70% and 94.06%, while a supplied developer sheet documents a broader six-configuration family.
| Current public page | 96.70% and 94.06% |
|---|---|
| Other documented configurations | 95.05%, 92.50% (UK-marked), 90.52% (Germany-marked) and 88.42% (Germany-marked) |
The UK flag beside 92.50% shows that Push Gaming documented a UK-marked configuration. It does not mean every Great Britain operator uses 92.50%, or that it should be treated as “the UK RTP”.
Slotathon has not yet collected a dated multi-client UK-facing Razor Shark deployment sample, so these figures show documented configurations rather than which RTP is currently most common in Great Britain.
Is Razor Shark high volatility?
Yes. Push Gaming’s current game page labels Razor Shark High volatility, and the supplied Game Information Form also says High.
That is a first-party game characteristic, not a prediction of what an individual session will look like. Slotathon does not use a volatility label to infer hit frequency, winning likelihood or player benefit.
What is the maximum win in Razor Shark?
Razor Shark is one of those games where a single “max win” number is more misleading than helpful. Push Gaming’s later first-party explanation talks instead about the largest wins it had actually observed.
Push Gaming said that across billions of testing spins, the largest win it had seen was about 55,000×. It then discussed a real player win of about 85,000×, which had exceeded that earlier observed level.
That means 50,000× should not be treated as a fixed cap, but the later 85,000× result should not be promoted into a formal maximum either. The evidence gives us observed records rather than one clean capped multiplier.
So Razor Reveal’s 2,500× instant award is only one piece of the picture. It should not be mistaken for the game’s overall maximum.
Great Britain stakes and Feature Buy
For online slots in Great Britain, the statutory maximum stake per game cycle is £5 for customers aged 25 and over and £2 for customers aged 18 to 24. Operators or individual game clients can set lower limits.
Older generic stake ranges are therefore not a useful answer for current GB players. The statutory ceilings are the relevant limits here.
The reviewed Push Gaming developer specification lists Game Tools as N/A and does not list a direct Feature Buy control for Razor Shark. Slotathon also does not present direct Bonus Buy or Feature Buy as available on GB-regulated online slots.
Release date and jackpot boundary
Slotathon uses 3 September 2019 as the Razor Shark release date, based on Push Gaming’s own launch article.
The first-party material is also clear about what is not there. The supplied Game Information Form states zero jackpot tiers, while the developer sheet lists Instant Jackpots as No. On that evidence, Slotathon does not classify the reviewed Razor Shark build as a progressive-jackpot slot.

How we researched Razor Shark
Slotathon uses Push Gaming’s own game data and first-party descriptions as the factual base for Razor Shark. Where supplied developer material contains a broader configuration family than the current public game page, we keep both pieces of evidence visible rather than collapsing them into one RTP.
The maximum-win question needed the same treatment. Push Gaming’s later first-party explanation documents observed wins rather than one ordinary fixed cap. That is why this page keeps the roughly 55,000× test result and later roughly 85,000× real-player result as observed outcomes rather than turning either figure into a formal maximum.
